PREPARATION
Prior to treatment, ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from cement, grout, debris and algae. If pressure washed allow a minimum of 4 days to fully dry. Test product in an inconspicuous area or on a sample prior to use.
APPLICATION
Shake prior to use. Apply Stone Shield by roller, mop, saturated brush or low-pressure deck sprayer. Do not allow liquid to pool, remove excess with microfibre cloth. For optimum performance apply a second coat around 30 minutes after first (wet on wet). Surfaces will be touch dry within 1 hour but requires 24 hours to fully cure. DO NOT APPLY if rain is forecast within 24 hours. DO NOT Apply in temperatures exceeding 30oc.
COVERAGE
Coverage is dependent on surface porosity. On highly porous surfaces approx. 5-10m2 per Ltr. Second coat and lower porosity surfaces approx. 10-20m2 per Ltr. Porcelain paving ≥20m2 per Ltr can be achieved. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR POLISHED SANDSTONE.
MAINTENANCE
Regularly sweep the floor and rinse away surface dirt with water. On high traffic areas pressure washing may be required every 3-5 years. Apply a fresh coat of Paving Shield after cleaning. Wash equipment with white spirit after use.
STORAGE
Store in a cool dry location at 5-25oc. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. This product has a 12 month shelf life if stored correctly.
